Didur Borys Anatoliiovych was born on 24 April 1997 in Trostianets, Vinnytsia region. Senior Police Lieutenant, Inspector of the Juvenile Prevention Section of Trostianets District Police Department #2, Haisynskyi District Police Department. He worked as a juvenile police officer for six years, which is one of the most responsible positions in the police, as his duties included the prevention of offences among children. He prevented many adolescents from making mistakes and ruining their lives.
Borys Anatoliiovych was loved and respected at Trostianets Secondary School #2, at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, by the teaching staff of the school he worked closely with. He was tolerant, sincere, principled and honest.
This is how he fought in the war. He was brave, courageous, ready to sacrifice for the sake of Victory, peace and his comrades.
Borys joined the war consciously and voluntarily. At the beginning of 2023, the Offensive Guard was being formed with eight assault brigades. Former and current police officers formed the Brigade “Liut”, a paramilitary unit of the Special Police Department, to repel and defend against armed aggression against Ukraine. Borys was one of the first Trostianets police officers to volunteer for service on the frontline. On 10 February 2023, he was enlisted as a platoon inspector in the “Tsunami” assault regiment of the “Liut” separate assault brigade.
As a senior police lieutenant, after training at the military training centre, the combat unit where Borys served went to the front.
He had to fight in one of the hottest areas – Bakhmut. Our troops conducted offensive actions there. Fierce battles continued to fight for the village of Klishchiyivka… which was later liberated.
On 26 August 2023, during another terrible battle, Borys’s life tragically ended.
