Oleksandr Mykolaiovych Boichenko, a 42-year-old captain of military intelligence, nicknamed “Ispanets”, a graduate of Kyiv Institute of International Affairs.
In addition, Oleksandr also received a degree in economics and law.
He worked at the Ministry of Defence, the State Committee for Financial Monitoring and the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
In 2014-2015 Oleksandr Boychenko volunteered for the frontline, where he became a military intelligence officer, which is where his analytical mind and practical knowledge were put to good use.
After demobilisation, Oleksandr remained in the reserve of the 95th Brigade.
During this period many events took place in his life: he started a family, became a father, started working at the NACP, and received a degree in law.
At the same time, Oleksandr, who was fluent in English and Spanish, was invited abroad to attend training camps for military reservists from around the world under the auspices of NATO – in Spain, Estonia, etc.
On 24 February 2022, Oleksandr immediately volunteered for the front again.
He died in a battle with the Russian invaders on 13 March 2022 near the village of Skorynets, Chernihiv region. His reconnaissance group was shot at point-blank range by an enemy infantry fighting vehicle. The scouts’ vehicle completely burned down…
